Periodicals

Program for: Organizations

Purpose: To provide operating support to Ontario-based, Canadian-owned periodicals to assist them to publish literature and arts and cultural commentary.

Eligibility: This program is open to Canadian-owned periodicals (including free-circulation and online magazines) that have been established in Ontario for two years and have published at least three issues. Eligible magazines must be significantly devoted to the publication of original Canadian fiction and poetry and/or critical commentary on Canadian contemporary arts, culture and society.

Deadline Date: June 1, 2012
Grant notification letters will be mailed out four months after the application deadline.

NOTE: Potential new applicants must contact the officer well in advance of the deadline to discuss eligibility.
