Program for: Organizations
Purpose: The Media Arts Projects program provides grants up to $10,000 to assist not-for-profit organizations and artists’ collectives for projects that present, document or disseminate the work of professional Ontario media artists, or that provide media artists with professional development opportunities. The program funds projects such as media arts festivals, screening series, workshops, symposia and sector-related publications.
Eligibility: The program is open to not-for-profit, Ontario-based organizations or collectives of media artists. Organizations receiving OAC operating or annual funding are not eligible. Projects must pay fees to professional artists.
Please note that the creation/production of media art is not eligible in this program. Please see the Media Artists programs.
Deadline Dates: March 1 and September 17, 2012
Grant notification letters will be mailed out four months after the application deadline.
